Pack isn’t recognizing the hard drive. Sat Apr 24, Just a quick note to say thanks for the help. I read someone had succes with those on the FM3-L. The included multi-language manual is well written and illustrated, but extremely sparse. Unless you’d like a modified BIOS to enable this option, you’ll have to find a floppy drive, a floppy disk, and use these drivers to load the required SATA drivers using F6 when prompted in textmode setup in order to install XP. I have one SATA hard drive.

This is probably a good thing, as demonstrated by the scores from the benchmarks we did get to run.
Or is there a switch on the board itself? I have a controller card in one of my machines that may, or may not work. I would prefer the floppy instead of slipstreaming, at this point. Ie is it Sata II?

Good to hear that things went well. Either the floppy drive I’m using is screwed, or the one on raod destination machine isn’t reading right.
Currently it appears to recognize my hard drive as a SCSI. It will boot a little faster I bet no ID of sata items. But that was over a decade ago. Make it the first and only drive. Only Option except run it in IDE mode.

If someone can point me to the information I need, I’ll owe you one. Don’t have a clue why the drivers I try to install at F6 don’t seem to want to work. Flash from a DOS bootable flash drive preferably, otherwise floppy.
